Construction Project Scheduler
Responsibilities Include:
- Candidate must understand construction logistics and sequencing
- Projects include high profile, multi-million dollar national and international construction projects
- Some positions require security clearances and/or United States citizenship
- Coordinate time, materials, and labor
- Track and control project costs
- Advanced knowledge of construction practices and procedures
- Working knowledge of regulatory bodies relating to the construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Proficiency in scheduling software – Primavera (P3, P5, and P6) SureTrack and Microsoft Project
- Proficiency in MS Office software – Word, Excel, Outlook
- Basic understanding of estimating software
- Ability to communicate effectively both in written format and oral presentation
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
- Organizational skills
- Ability to direct and manage others
- Attention to detail
- Ability to operate telephone, photocopier, fax machine, mail machines and computer workstation
- Possible travel
Education and Experience
- College degree or equivalent
- Preferred – Engineering degree
- Required – 10 years experience
- Association Certifications, PMP, PSP
