The CRAWFORD Team has performed and continues to perform life cost analysis on projects during the Design Development Phase of the Project. We believe this practice is important in selecting alternatives that impact pending and future costs over the complete Life Cycle of the project. Due to the sensitivity of cost in the design and construction of a project, most owners and end-users will place more emphasis on securing the lowest possible cost at the start of a project and are less concerned with incorporating higher-end and costly design products/features that will ultimately result in long-term cost savings. It is our practice to make sure that our client is aware of all available options, even those that may not be the most cost-effective at project conception but could, over the entire process, be more cost-efficient.
