CRAWFORD has evaluated construction related claims and provided professional insight to a claim situation due to the default of a developer, general contractor, and/or subcontractor. In addition, we have provided independent reviews and analysis for owners, contractors, insurance companies, and the legal community as well as provided “expert witness” testimony in a court of law. Our services consist of reviewing the facts surrounding the declaration of default, analyzing the contract and the progress of the contract; reviewing the schedule as proposed, as contracted, and as it was executed, as well as providing an estimate on direct and indirect costs for the resources required in order to get the project back on track or to recover the cost of the damages.
CRAWFORD has a comprehensive background in the construction industry performing scheduling and schedule delay analysis. We use Primavera P5 and Primavera P6 software, Suretrak, Construction Schedule Delay Analysis, Microsoft Project and Schedule Risk Analysis; and are trained, certified and experienced in other scheduling software programs. By working directly with the General Contractor, Sub-Contractors, Engineers, and Architects, all necessary information is obtained to keep the project on track, on time, and within budget.

CRAWFORD routinely reviews and analyzes construction project schedules submitted by contractors to ensure they are realistic, take into consideration known operational constraints, and are designed to meet required completion dates. Claim Digger, Primavera, and Microsoft Project Analysis are among the different software utilized to complete the review projects. Review comments are furnished to Project Managers on submittals as necessary and are reviewed with the contractors at periodic Construction Progress Meetings. Our Construction Coordinators look for ways to minimize the disruption of utility services to the customers, and work with them to accommodate the construction project as well as mission activities with minimal impact to both.
