VALUE ENGINEERING

CRAWFORD’s approach to conducting value engineering studies is consistent with the standards of SAVE International and the U.S. federal, state, and local requirements such as USACE ER 11-1-321 Change 1, Value Engineering and ASTM-1699-19, Standard Practice for Performing Value Analysis (VA) of Buildings and Building Systems; all of which are derived from the aforementioned SAVE International standards.

CRAWFORD uses a systematic approach called the Job Plan in conducting VE studies. The Job Plan functions as a road map through the VE process, ensuring that all of the needed steps in the process are performed in the optimal fashion for maximum owner benefit. The CRAWFORD Job Plan takes place in three major groups of activities: pre-workshop, workshop, and post-workshop.
